What to do With a Brand New Year

Poetry is inspiring, poetry is moving, poetry is emotional, poetry is revelatory, and poetry is damn hard to publish. The journals and the contests present challenges, for sure, but we are having our luck with them. The hard part comes when one tries to publish a book, or even a chapbook.

We’re considering self-publishing some of our work together. When we say ‘considering’ it means that we’re just starting to learn about imprints, royalties, formats, and hiring narrators, editors, graphic artists – there’s a lot to cram into our heads!

The next task is to make this blog so that you can comment on it. Look for that addition next!

You can read ‘Can’t Buy That Harley Now,’ on page 43. Also, check out our friend Delight Rogers’ art on page 81.
